Andrew is a Marine, a loving father and husband, and the founder and owner of Intelligent Design Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Solar, & Electric. An EPA-certified technician, Andrew has been to countless trainings and is certified for Indoor Air Quality by both Lennox and American Standard/Trane. In his 17+ years of experience, Andrew has received the Super Service Award from Angie’s List every year since 2012 for Heating and Air Conditioning. He also maintains an A+ accreditation with the Better Business Bureau! Today, Intelligent Design Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Solar, & Electric employs more than 80 people year-round and works from their new property, which they purchased in 2013. We specialize in a wide range of services, including home system repair and replacement, indoor air quality solutions, custom duct repair and design, and commercial service and replacement. In 2015, we started a new plumbing division to better serve our customers. The new plumbing division provides all plumbing services, which include drain cleaning, water heater replacement, plumbing repairs, and whole house water softening and water treatment. In other words, we can handle it all! Amy is a U.S. Army veteran, Lutheran Christian, loving wife, and proud mother. She has also been an industry professional for more than 20 years! With 2 girls and 4 grandbabies, this Indiana-born powerhouse is no stranger to working hard and doing right, and she’s no stranger to the business either! In her free time, Amy likes to camp, fish, hunt, cook, bake, play the hand bells, and sing in choirs.

Michael Matthews loves his job at Intelligent Design Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Solar, & Electric. An industry veteran, he has more than 20 years of experience with HVAC-related businesses. He also has more than 7 years of experience owning his own company. Michael has five wonderful kids, and he enjoys boxing, hiking, and cooking. In addition, Michael attends Calvary Chapel Church and performs at Laffs Comedy Caffe from time to time.
Paul Matthews
Paul is an Army veteran who has been married for 48 years. He also has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Paul also volunteers regularly at his church and enjoys fishing, camping, hunting, and other outdoor activities. He has been in the business for more than 26 years. Paul owned his own business for 4 years. He loves his work and taking good care of his customers.
Leah Weinrich
Leah is a college graduate and has been with the business for more than a year. Beyond Intelligent Design Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Solar, & Electric, Leah is the director of her church’s hand-bell choir and is also a production technician there. When she’s not helping out her folks, Leah enjoys making lace, playing piano and trumpet, and cultivating succulent plants.
Taylor Owen
A Tennessee boy at heart and husband to a woman from Brazil, Taylor has been in Tucson for more than 4 years and has been with the Best Solar, Plumbing, & HVAC Company in Tucson almost the entire time. Passionate about pouring into future generations for a better future, Taylor volunteered for a non-profit for 9 months, where he traveled the country giving hope to kids around the nation. The non-profit’s owner was Andrew’s wife, Aimee, which is how he got connected to the business.
